Refund Policy
Last updated 2 October 2026
All purchases are final
All purchases are final, except where applicable law requires otherwise or Gumroad issues a refund under its own policies. BudgetWalk provides digital guide access and does not offer a voluntary satisfaction guarantee, a trial period or change-of-mind refunds.
Ordinary inaccuracies, estimated walking times, changed opening hours, closures or route changes do not, by themselves, create a voluntary refund entitlement. We use our best efforts when researching guides and work to keep them up to date, but local conditions can change. This does not exclude rights required by law for faulty, undelivered or materially misdescribed content. See our Terms of Use.
Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights. Consumers in the EU and UK generally have 14 days from concluding a digital-content contract to withdraw. That right can end when supply begins only if the required express consent to immediate supply, acknowledgment of losing the withdrawal right and contract confirmation requirements have been met. If those requirements have not been met, your withdrawal rights remain as applicable law provides.
You may also have rights to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund where digital content fails to meet applicable legal requirements. Those rights are not removed by using a guide, completing a trip or this final-sale policy.
Access problems and billing errors
If you cannot access guides, believe you were charged twice or have another purchase problem, email hello@budgetwalk.com. Use the checkout email or include your order number. We may request limited information to verify the purchase; do not send card numbers or passwords. We will help resolve access issues and arrange any remedy required by law.
Processing refunds and payment disputes
Gumroad is the merchant of record and processes any refund under its own terms. This product is sold with no refund period, but Gumroad may still issue a refund independently, for example to resolve a payment dispute. A refund goes to the original payment method, with applicable tax adjustments; allow up to ten working days after processing for the funds to appear.
A full refund ends the associated licence, including companion access. The key will be disabled and users must stop using and delete saved copies. Where a partial refund is agreed or legally required, we will explain its effect on access.
Please contact us or Gumroad promptly about an unrecognized charge or payment problem. This does not restrict your right to contact your bank or payment provider, report fraud or meet a dispute deadline.
